Boston Leads 3-0 in Eastern Conference Finals

Pacers Have No Choice but to Come at Celtics Even Harder in Game 4, Carlisle Says

The top-seeded Boston Celtics are going for the knockout blow against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals on Monday night. The Celtics need one more win to advance to the NBA Finals. The Pacers are hoping to avoid a sweep. The Pacers have no choice but to come at the Celtics even harder in Game 4, Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said. "They are in a position no team in NBA history has," Carlisle said. "We have to come out and play with a sense of urgency." The Pacers have proved to be a worthy opponent, pushing the Celtics deep into the fourth quarter in three of their four matchups. But in Game 4, the Celtics outscored Indiana 25-19 in the fourth quarter to take a 3-0 lead in the series. "We have to be better in the fourth quarter," Pacers guard Victor Oladipo said. "We can't afford to let them get away from us like they did in Game 4."
