New Update Released for Borderlands 3
Auto-Sell Feature and More
On August 8, Gearbox Software released a new update for Borderlands 3 that adds an auto-sell feature and more. The update also includes various bug fixes and performance improvements.
Auto-Sell Feature
The auto-sell feature allows players to automatically sell unwanted items while they are looting. This feature can be activated in the game's settings menu, and players can specify which items they want to sell automatically.
Other Features
In addition to the auto-sell feature, the update also includes a number of other improvements, including:
- New loot drops for Mayhem 10 and Mayhem 11
- Increased the number of Eridium drops from enemies
- Various bug fixes and performance improvements
Hotfixes vs. Patches
Gearbox Software is able to update Borderlands 3 in two ways: they can either hotfix or patch the game. Hotfixes are smaller updates that can be deployed quickly, while patches are larger updates that take more time to develop and test.
The new update for Borderlands 3 is a hotfix, so it was able to be released quickly. However, it is possible that a patch will be released in the future that includes additional features and improvements.
